| The Lee County Commission normally meets on the second and last Mondays of the month, unless the Commission changes the meeting date due to holidays, etc. Citizen attendance is welcomed and strongly encouraged. The Commission holds an informal pre-meeting at 4:00 PM (Central Time) to discuss the items on the proposed agenda for possible action at the 6:00 PM (Central Time) formal meeting. No official action may be taken at the pre-meeting.
The official Commission Meeting is at 6:00 PM (Central Time). The Commission makes decisions and takes official action on agenda items at this meeting. The meeting also includes a citizens' communication period where citizens can address the Commission directly with their comments and/or concerns. If a citizen wishes to be placed on the agenda for a specific issue, please contact Deputy Administrator Alice Hodge in the County Commission office at (334) 745-9767 or email to ahodge@leeco.us no later than 2:00 P.M. on the Thursday prior to the meeting on the following Monday. Also, please give a brief description of the subject matter that you wish brought before the County Commission. Please See the Agenda below:
