Human Resources is responsible for coordinating and directing the administrative processes associated with employee benefits, payroll, employment, training and development, risk management, safety, and loss control in accordance with the Lee County Personnel Policies and Procedures adopted by the Lee County Commission.
Lee County employs over 250 individuals in various full-time and part-time positions within the following departments: County Commission Office, Highway Department, Probate Judge's Office, Revenue Commissioner's Office, Reappraisal, Solid Waste Department, Building Inspection, Emergency Management Agency, Building and Grounds Maintenance and Court Referral Office.
The Human Resources Department also provides administrative support in the areas of payroll and employment for the Lee County Sheriff's Office .
