County Adjusts Official Highway Maintenance System

| At its meeting on January 11, the Lee County Commission approved a request by County Engineer Neal Hall to reduce the amount of county-maintained roads by 9.263 miles. This adjustment was due to the City of Auburn accepting into its coverage area roads and portions of roads that have been annexed on both sides by the city.
The 9.263 miles of road include portions of:
4267.6 feet -- Lee Road 80 -- Bud Black 7842.1 feet -- Lee Road 81 -- Mrs. James Road 3487.6 feet -- Lee Road 10 -- Sandhill Road 6542.1 feet -- Lee Road 22 -- Mill Creek 1589.9 feet -- Lee Road 47 -- Pierce Chapel Road 3505.7 feet -- Lee Road 54 -- Society Hill Road 7177.5 feet -- Lee Road 82-- North Donahue Drive 11900.4 feet -- Lee Road 72-- W Farmville Road 2595.2 feet -- Lee Road 56 -- Wimberly Road
