Highway Department to use Federal Aid funds for road repairs
 

Following approval by the Lee County Commission, the Highway Department will begin using its Federal Aid allotment to resurface several deteriorating roads in the county.

The roads selected to be resurfaced include:

Lee Road 298 and Lee Road 246 -- from Lee Road 430 to Lee Road 430

Lee Road 246 -- from Lee Road 295 to Lee Road 298

Lee Road 208 -- from Lee Road 240 to County Line

Lee Road 391 -- from Opelika city limits to US Hwy 280/431

The Federal Aid funds were made available for these projects due to the County Road and Bridge Bond issue.

The Lee County Commission has released the "Guide to Lee County Government" to help citizens understand the responsibilities and services of the Lee County government.
FISCAL YEAR 2010 ADOPTED BUDGET
Commission adopted the FY 2010 Budget on 9/28/09.  The fiscal year is October 1st through September 30th.
