WELCOME to the web site of the Lee County Probate Judge's Office.
The Probate Judge in Lee County is a countywide elected representative of the people who is responsible for the administration of the Probate Court, the licensing office, and the public records office. In addition, the Probate Judge serves as the Chairman of the Lee County Commission. The Probate Judge is also the Chief Elections Official of the county, and serves along with the Sheriff and the Circuit Clerk as the official Appointing and Canvassing Board for all county, state and federal elections. Additionally, the Probate Judge serves on other quasi-governmental boards, including the Lee-Russell Council of Governments and the Auburn-Opelika Convention and Visitors Bureau.
"After 18 years employment in the Lee County Probate Office, I was elected to serve as Lee County's 14th Probate Judge in November, 2000 and I took office in January, 2001. I deem it a privilege and an honor to have been chosen to serve the citizens of Lee County in this critical position of responsibility.
My staff and I are dedicated to serving the citizens of Lee County. In every area of responsibility, my goals are to be: (1) prompt; (2) courteous; (3) fair; and (4) available when needed. My highest priority is to offer the best customer service possible to the public, with the most modern technology available.
