SCHEDULE OF FILING FEES

Mortgage Tax

 

$1.50 per $1000 or  $0.15 per $100.

(Round up to the next $100)

(example: $500 is $0.75; $600 is $0.90)

Deed Tax

$1.00 per $1000 or $0.50 per $500.

(Round up to the next $500) 

(example: $500 is $0.50; $600 is $1.00)

$3.00 per page

Data Processing

$5.00 per instrument

   

Extra Name Fee

$1.00 per name after the first two

Mineral Tax

$0.15 per acre if the grantor is reserving minerals not previously reserved.

SIMULTANEOUS RECORDING OF DEED AND PURCHASE MORTGAGE:
The mortgage tax and fee for recording the purchase mortgage will be calculated as mentioned above.  The deed tax will be figured on the amount of the sales price exceeding the amount of the mortgage, if the mortgage is made to a taxable concern and the mortgage tax collected.

Example:

Sales Price $125,000.00  
  Mortgage $  50,000.00  
  Equity $  75,000.00  
 
Calculate deed tax on        $75,000.00
Calculate mortgage tax on $50,000.00

Deeds and Mortgages must show the buyer's and seller's addresses on the deed and mortgage.  Both must show the following:   This document prepared by:  name, title, address.

Copies of recorded documents may be obtained for $1.00 per page (We must have this fee before we can send the copy). To locate a recorded document, the clerk will need the name of the individuals, the approximate date the document was recorded, the book and page number, or the instrument number. There is a $3.00 extra charge for a certified copy.
